About Us

A Space with History

Originally founded in 1942 as St. James Methodist Church, the Rose Villa property was designed in the California Mission style by architect Reginald J. Inwood.

The building was completed in 1960 and has since served as a gathering place for churches, schools, and community organizations throughout the years.

A Place That Continues to Gather

Today, Rose Villa is operated by Frontier Church Pasadena and continues its legacy as a space where people come together.

While its purpose has evolved over time, the heart behind the space remains the same, to be a place that is both welcoming and meaningful, where moments are shared and remembered.

Beauty with Purpose

At its core, Rose Villa is a timeless setting designed for weddings and celebrations that feel both beautiful and intentional.

But beyond the events themselves, we see this space as something more, a place that holds significance in every capacity, from weekly gatherings to once-in-a-lifetime celebrations.

A Setting for What Matters Most

From Sunday mornings to wedding days, from quiet moments to joyful celebrations, Rose Villa exists to hold the moments that matter most.

Our hope is that this space would be cherished not only for its beauty, but for the experiences it holds—
a place where meaningful and lasting moments unfold.
